Whew! Back from vacation "Up North"*. Placed books at several bookstores: Petoskey, Traverse City, Cadillac and Charlevoix. Prospects are good at several other cities as well. Funny, On Tuesday, August 7, while in Elk Rapids I received a call from Sweetwaters Café that people were there for a book signing. Apparently it was in the Ann Arbor Observer that was a scheduled event. ummm... not so much. If I had been in town, I would have hopped over there. Sorry for any inconvenience it may have caused. An actual event scheduled; A Book SIgning at Borders on Saturday, August 25, 2007 now has a confirmed time~ 1:00 ~jbw |

I am so behind in the web-site updates! The Borders book signing went really well! Thousands of pounds of people were there! I met some really wonderful people. Some came from Seattle others from Chicago. Maddie from page 4 of "Who's Behind the Fairy Doors?" was there too! I put up a few pictures (I was so busy talking and signing that I barely remembered to take any). There are also some fairy droppings to report. It looks like we will go to the FaerieCon in Philedelphia in October. We won't be exhibiting this year, just enjoying. ~jbw |

There is a brief history of how Jonathan became involved with the Urban Fairies. There are links to local publications about the Urban Fairy phenomenon. Jonathan is currently writing several books on the fairies in collaboration with his wife, Kathleen, who coincidentally has found a fairy door in her kindergarten classroom. Hopefully it will be fun and informative to come back and see what's new with the Urban Fairies of Ann Arbor.
