These fairies are especially meticulous craftsfairies
and rather prolific as well. They have a fondness for the "A" sisters:

I recieved an e-mail from Judy in Brighton, Michigan:

Hi,
I thought you might like to see these photos and know how much the Fairies have
taken over our lives.

This past Thanksgiving weekend, I took my granddaughters to see the doors of Fairy
Doors Ann Arbor. My three girls, and myself, were totally smitten!!

And guess what, some fairies have arrived here in Brighton - and we are sure that
there may be more arriving. We think they like it here. If more fairies come to
live here, I will forward the pictures.

Thank you so very much for introducing us to this magic.

Alaina & the fairy door in her room.

The pink note (on the fairy door) says:
Hello Alaina,
My name is Lorissia.
I hope you are happy that I have come to live with you and your family.
We can watch out for each other.

A corner of doors & a ...dog?
Behind the fairy door in Alaina's room is Lorissa's room.
Alyssa, on her 15th birthday, by the fairy door which was decorated in celebration!

(This fairy who lives here is Orla).

It looks like they have a genuine
infestation there in Brighton!
I just received MORE pictures.
Apparently a fairy named Vivi has moved into some books there.
At Easter the Orla's room was decorated accordingly!
Here's Alyssa with Vivi's place on her bookshelf.
The "spine" end of Vivi's place.
Inside of Vivi's place one can see the tastefull decorations such as the
"Fairy Doors of Ann Arbor" poster*.

Unfortunately, at the higher latitudes of Michigan sometimes fairies get a bit light headed and do EXTRA odd things... like having a Michigan State flag on the wall.
Just teasing! Michigan State is a fine University.
I happened to go to the University of Michigan and have some obligation to mock State.
In May 2007 I received this e-mail:

HI,
I am excited to tell you that a fairy named Maev came to live with
Alaina's 3rd grade teacher, Ms. Davis, last Friday. We took these pictures during an event in Alaina's classroom. Alaina and Ms. Davis both have a great appreciation for fairies - and each other. I am quite sure that is why Maev arrived here.
Enjoy!

Here's Ms. Davis with Alaina
with Maev's fairy classroom.
Maev's fairy classroom.
Maev's note to Ms. Davis
The inside is a well appointed classroom, though I have never known a fairy to be able to sit still for a whole day of study.
From June 18, 2007:

Hi,
Can you imagine a Burberry house? Well, that is where Ashleigh's fairy, Everlyse, lives. She came to live with Ashleigh, this week. Her house is a replica of a Burberry purse. If you look closely, you can see a cell phone, Oprah magazine, high heels, a silver purse and a dog - all things a cool teenager would love. I guess that is why she choose to live in Ashleigh's room. I think they must be soulmates.
Enjoy!
Judy & Bob

I had NO idea what a "Burberry" was prior to this. Obviously it is a brand of purse. I do admit to knowing what a Coach bag is, but this was news to me.
Ashleigh with Everlyse's "Burberry" purse fairy-house.
There's a purse in the purse...
... and a pair of pumps.
(yes, I Do know what pumps are)
It's quite comfy inside. A sofa, armchair, table, mantle, a copy of Oprah magazine and even a framed portrait of the A-team girls.
