This morning I found that there is now a 4th set of tickets!
This "show" is for Tempest.
There is the image of a teacup with the word "Tempest" superimposed... which calls to mind the idom: "A tempest in a teacup"...meaning a big fuss over nothing.

This series of tickets is a bit MORE cryptic; there is a Celtic knot on a magenta background with the word
"gNOT" printed over.

Yet again...over night ANOTHER 500 tickets gone. HOWEVER, the evdience left behind gives further clues for forensics. I found 15 1/3 tickets on the sidewalk....

Alright let's not get our gNOT tickets in a knot! Except we have, TWICE. Just after they appeared and all through art fair they remained bunched behind the glass...then corrected...and 2 days after...a mess again.

Perhaps PeZz should be consulted on some mechanical solution which maintains ticket order and limits the despensing or administers a noxious odor if too many are taken....or....

The Ark tickets have been going at what seems to be a reasonable rate for neraly a MONTH...
there were three abandoned tickets on the sidewalk.

That is 702 tickets taken over 24 hours!
That is why I have the picture inside the trash can... I was expecting to see several hundred in there. Only one.

So, I suspect that the fairy-ticket origami project must be coming along nicely. Or perhaps it is paper maché? Bookmarks? Placemat weaving?

On Saturday I found a mildly curious thing. A loose ticket was stuck back in the window. I did not think much of it, but noticed that the number skipped one which I did not see around.

With the mysterious message:
"Seamus-the-tall has found the Golden Knot"
(If that is Seamus, he does not strike me as "tall".)

This morning I found that all the remaining tickets were gone. Past rolls have had approximately 2,000 tickets... so that means the balance was just over 100 since the golden Knot ticket was found.

Seamus-the-tall, 2 years old (3 on October 11) and Seamus's mother received the golden knot medallion along with some other prizes.

Do not expect any other prizes to be won via tickets.

The fairies must really have something there! Like Phantom or Cats or Chicago! Maybe they should consider a more automated system of printing. Currently, they appear to be all "hand" stamped.

Last night, Delaney and I went downtown. We got a picture of NEW tickets!
It's been a long time! Maybe the fairies have been touring?
These new ones have "X"s and "O"s. I think it must be some sort of binary code/language! I will study it.

We bumped into an Ark volunteer, who said something like, "At first we didn't like it, but now we do." In reference to urban fairies at The Ark. I did not get WHY they weren't liked (at first), but they are liked now,
because of the "excitement and energy" they bring.

I don't get IN to the Ark as often as I'd like, but this morning I saw someone there and asked if I could come in. Unfortunately, I discovered that the inside of the fairy door has been damaged. The push bar is gone and part of the wood broken off.
I'm guessing that the "fairy fire-marshal" will not be happy about this!
I'm not (happy about this either)

This morning I saw new tickets at the Ark! I did not have my camera... I have misplaced it! The new tickets are yellow with a bee in black and "B & B" in blue.

It looked as if the urban beavers had been nibbling on the fairy ticket window at The Ark!

Some of the damage has since been repaired.

After quite a long "dry spell" with no tickets. We have a new event... or at least new tickets. They are orange and sport a leaf on each.

After an even longer spell of the tickets being jammed behind the glass... there are new tickets. These are green with a small frog and the word "peep".

Those tickets, about 2,000 per roll are hand stamped. It is no wonder we have not seen any sign of fairies around for so many years... it's a wonder there is ANY evidence.
