A note to the "bigfuts" from Redshoe owner. Within 24 hours someone forced open the front door.
(it's been repaired) AGAIN: The fairy doors are FRAGILE. Do not try and force them open. I'd be really ticked off if someone 12 times my size shoved in my door, |

Check this out! I drove by Red Shoes this morning (8.14.06) and saw that the Humanoids have installed a door which more closely mimciks that of the fairies! Art imitates life which imitates Art...or something. Symbiotic mimickry? Maybe the "orange slice" window should be painted red too? |

This is where it (fairy doors) all began the concept, the phenomenon. This site is all about the Fairy Doors in Ann Arbor, Michigan (the original fairy doors) and what illustrator, Jonathan b. Wright , certified fairyologist, discovers about them. It includes photographs of the Fairy Doors, comments in the Fairy Journals, Observations and speculations about the Fairies. Jonathan is currently writing several books on the fairies in collaboration with his wife, Kathleen, who coincidentally has found a fairy door in her kindergarten classroom. Hopefully it will be fun and informative to come back and see what's new with the Urban Fairies of Ann Arbor.
